Boone County Multipurpose Center

A place for everyone.

The vision

Here’s your opportunity to donate and help build the Boone County Multipurpose Center, organized by Robert and Tracey Tranum

We, Robert and Tracey Tranum, are the owners of 6th Holdings. In 2022, we purchased the historic former First Baptist Church of Lebanon with a vision to restore and repurpose it into a vibrant community center, transition home, and a place to house our business.

As part of this vision, we partnered with Heather Vann, founder of Brother and Sister Check Ministries, to help establish the Sister Check Next Step Transition Home, which now operates in the renovated parsonage. The nonprofit continues to provide valuable community resources that align with the mission of the Boone County Multipurpose Center.

Our main focus now is completing the renovation of the Boone County Multipurpose Center itself. We have made great progress—demolition is complete, a new roof has been installed, and tuckpointing is finished. Once complete, this historic building in downtown Lebanon, Indiana will serve as a hub for community connection and support, offering:

  • Flexible spaces for local businesses and events
  • An art room and LEGO room
  • A food pantry and day center activities
  • A barbershop and laundry facilities
  • And much more for Boone County residents to enjoy.

We are now at a crucial stage where we need your help to make this vision a reality. Every donation—large or small—brings us closer to completing this important project for our community.

All proceeds go directly to the Robert and Tracey Tranum Building Renovation Fund through Go Fund Me.

Boone County Multipurpose Center

…is a historical building that is being renovated into a center that will be used for flexible spaces that can be adapted for different uses, such as arts, events, education, and community gatherings. It will also house the operations of Brother and Sister Check Ministries.

See the progress of change

We have pulled tons of plaster out of the building the past few months. We recently pulled out the baptismal and the wall behind it to make improvements. We are continuing to push forward with the renovations and about to move into the next phase.
